...Accumulating snow possible tonight mainly along and south of the hal Rogers Parkway...
A quick hitting area of low pressure will track through the Tennessee Valley tonight...and bring a mixture of rain and snow. The precipitation could come down heavy for a couple of hours as the system passes. From this...slushy accumulations of up to an inch of snow will be possible...mainly along and south of the hal Rogers Parkway. These accumulations are expected to be confined to the ridges and grassy...or elevated... surfaces. However...where the precipitation is heavy enough there could be slick spots on area roads. Take caution if traveling late tonight and into Thursday morning.
