CDT/ this afternoon to 8 am EDT /7 am CDT/ Monday...
* timing: wintry precipitation is expected this afternoon and
evening... with snow diminishing late tonight.
* Main impact: one to two inches of snow and sleet accumulation
with isolated higher amounts can be expected... mainly on grassy
areas and elevated surfaces. The higher amounts will mainly fall
across the Bluegrass region. Slick spots on some roads and
bridges are likely.
* Other impacts: northeast winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts of 25
to 35 mph are expected this afternoon and evening. Also...
temperatures will drop into the 20s and low 30s by daybreak
Monday. Additional slick spots are possible for the morning commute.
