The Flood Warning continues for
the Ohio River at Cairo
* until further notice.
* At 9:00 PM Friday the stage was 44.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall slowly over the
weekend.

... Gusty southwest winds 25 to 35 mph possible later this
morning...

For locations in extreme southwest Kentucky and the Delta Region
of southeast Missouri... wind gusts from the southwest will pick
up as early as 9 am CDT near the Missouri Boot Heel... then spread
north through the remainder of the morning and into the early
afternoon before diminishing by 3 PM.

Along with the wind gusts temperatures will rise sharply into the
70s by noon.

Isolated stronger wind gusts may be possible in the vicinity of
thunderstorms that are expected later this afternoon.
