Statement as of 1:47 PM CST on November 16, 2009 ... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST Tuesday... A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST Tuesday. There will be a break in the snowfall through the rest of the afternoon with a mix of light rain and light snow possible. However another band of snow is expected to develop by early evening and move across northeast and east central KS. This band of snow could produce anywhere from 1 to 4 inches of snow before sunrise Tuesday. Periods of snow will cause some travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
