Through 4 am...scattered thunderstorms over east central Kansas and west central Missouri will gradually continue to move and develop southeast affecting areas from Nevada east to the Osceola...Humansville and Warsaw areas. Stronger storms will be capable of small hail...frequent lightning...and heavy rainfall with rainfall rates locally over an inch per hour. Other light showers will also continue to move into far southeast Kansas and the Joplin area.
