A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 5 am MST /6 am CST/ early this morning to 5 am MST /6 am CST/ Monday. Snow will intensify across the warning area today and become heavy at times. Generally 4 to 8 inches is expected to accumulate by sunset... heaviest south of Interstate 70. 3 to 6 inches is expected north of the Interstate... and 2 to 4 inches north of Highway 36 in Yuma County Colorado. An additional inch or two will fall tonight. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Warning means that significant amounts of snow... sleet... or ice are now occurring or are imminent. Travel will become very hazardous or impossible. Check the latest weather forecast before venturing outside.
