Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 5:09 AM CST on November 16, 2009
... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...
Light snow will continue this afternoon with storm total
accumulations of 2 to 5 inches likely by Monday night. Locally
higher accumulations... around 6 inches... are possible in southeast
portions of the advisory area... primarily southeast of a line from
Hebron Nebraska to Osborne Kansas. The combination of falling snow
and north winds of 10 to 20 mph may also result in reduced
visibilities across the area.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
