A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 am CDT Sunday.
* Location... northwest and northern Missouri... and extreme northeast Kansas.
* Timing... snow... occasionally moderate at times... will continue over northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas into the per-dawn hours of Saturday morning. A number of locations including Maryville... Rock Port and Mound City have picked up around 2 inches of snow through 11 PM. The snow will taper off towards sunrise Saturday morning.
* Snow accumulations... total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches with isolated amounts up to 5 inches are likely tonight.
* Impacts... roads will be slick... snow packed and hazardous overnight. In addition... strong north winds will cause blowing of the snow which will also reduce visibilities. Motorists should exercise extreme caution when traveling.

The Flood Warning continues for the Missouri River at St Joseph. * At 8:30 PM Friday the stage was 18.7 feet. * Flood stage is 17.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 20.3 feet by Monday morning then begin falling. * At 19.0 feet... backwater from the Missouri River floods property along the Nodaway river at Nodaway Missouri. * At 17.0 feet... lowland flooding upstream and downstream from St. Joseph occurs.
