	Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 12:11 PM CDT on March 20, 2010 ... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 am CDT Sunday... A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 am CDT Sunday. * Location... northwest and northern Missouri... and extreme northeast Kansas. * Timing... snow... occasionally moderate at times... will continue over northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas into the per-dawn hours of Saturday morning. A number of locations including Maryville... Rock Port and Mound City have picked up around 2 inches of snow through 11 PM. The snow will taper off towards sunrise Saturday morning. * Snow accumulations... total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches with isolated amounts up to 5 inches are likely tonight. * Impacts... roads will be slick... snow packed and hazardous overnight. In addition... strong north winds will cause blowing of the snow which will also reduce visibilities. Motorists should exercise extreme caution when traveling. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.

Statement as of 8:53 PM CDT on March 19, 2010 The Flood Warning continues for the Missouri River at St Joseph. * At 8:30 PM Friday the stage was 18.7 feet. * Flood stage is 17.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 20.3 feet by Monday morning then begin falling. * At 19.0 feet... backwater from the Missouri River floods property along the Nodaway river at Nodaway Missouri. * At 17.0 feet... lowland flooding upstream and downstream from St. Joseph occurs. Latest location fs stage day/time forecast Missouri River St Joseph 17 18.7 Fri 08 PM 20.3 Monday morning
