... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 7 am this
morning to noon CST Sunday...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 7 am this
morning to noon CST Sunday.

Timing... flurries are possible early this morning before the light snow
begins around 7 am and continues through noon on Sunday. The snow
may be moderate at times late this morning through early evening...
and then again Sunday morning.

* Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches... with locally higher
amounts near 5 inches are expected. Areas with the higher
snowfall accumulations are along and south of Interstate 70.

* Winds... winds will be southeast at 5 to 15 mph.

* Impacts... snow will accumulate on area roadways making roads
snow-packed and slippery. Motorists should use extreme caution
if travel is necessary.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Snow is forecast to accumulate in the affected areas causing
hazardous driving conditions. Those with travel plans are advised
