Through 9 am...scattered thunderstorms will continue to affect parts of the Missouri Ozarks and southeast Kansas. The strongest storms...capable of frequent lightning brief heavy rainfall...and wind gusts of 30 mph will affect an area from Hermitage and Camdenton south to the Greenfield...Mount Vernon and Springfield areas. Other isolated storms will affect areas near and just south of Fort Scott east to Liberal...Lamar...and Sheldon. These storms will have the potential to produce small hail and wind gusts of 40 mph.
