Through 6 PM...showers and embedded thunderstorms will continue to move east northeast at 25 mph...from eastern Kansas...into western and northern Missouri. The stronger storms were concentrated in extreme northeast Kansas and the northwest corner of Missouri. Radar estimates rainfall amounts less than a half inch per hour. Occasional cloud to ground lightening and wind gusts up to 40 mph...can be expected near the stronger storms.
