Portion of roof removed off Holiday inn near Anderson and 17th St. Portion of roof landed on vehicles in parking lot. Water damage to several of the rooms with trees blown down. 07/12/2009 0600 am Manhattan, Riley County. Thunderstorm wind damage, reported by Emergency Mngr. Trees uprooted across town. Catholic church near Juliette has one tree uprooted and one broken off 10 feet up. Power remains out downtown. 07/12/2009 0600 am Manhattan, Riley County. Thunderstorm wind damage, reported by law enforcement. Reports of downed trees and power lines.
