The Flood Watch continues for * portions of southeast Kansas and Missouri... including the following areas... in southeast Kansas... Bourbon... Cherokee and Crawford. In Missouri... Barry... Barton... Benton... Camden... Cedar... Christian... Dade... Dallas... Dent... Douglas... Greene... Hickory... Howell... Jasper... Laclede... Lawrence... Maries... McDonald... Miller... Morgan... Newton... Oregon... Ozark... Phelps... Polk... Pulaski... Shannon... St. Clair... stone... Taney... Texas... Vernon... Webster and Wright. * Until 7 am CDT Monday * light rain will exit the region overnight. However... a large area of snow pack across western Missouri and southeast Kansas will quickly melt Monday through Tuesday. Minor flooding could result from this snow melt over the next few days. * Additional rainfall amounts of less than two tenths of an inch will occur over portions of south central Missouri tonight. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings.
