The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect until 6 am CST Tuesday.
Light snow will develop across portions of central Kansas late this evening into early on Monday. Initially light snow will begin but some heavier snowfall may develop by sunrise Monday mainly along a line from Hoisington to elsworth to Salina. Snowfall accumulations by Monday morning will around 1 inch... but the steady snow will continue during the day on Monday... with total snowfall accumulations of 2 to 5 inches possible.
