... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 645 PM CDT
for southern Lincoln and northwestern Ellsworth counties...

At 624 PM CDT... a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
Lincoln... moving northeast at 40 mph.

Hazard... 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs... siding and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Lincoln and Beverly.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the

... Wind Advisory in effect from 3 PM this afternoon to 10 PM CDT
this evening...

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 3 PM this afternoon to 10 PM
CDT this evening.

* Winds... south 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Timing... mid afternoon through early this evening.

* Impacts... strong cross winds may be felt along west to east
oriented highways... especially for high profile vehicles. Loose
outdoor objects that are not secured properly may be blown about
by the gusty winds.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of at least 30 mph
and/or wind gusts over 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong
can make driving difficult... especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.
