The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for a mix of rain and snow... which is in effect until 6 am CST Tuesday. The Winter Storm Warning has been cancelled.
A band of rain and snow will move across northeast and east central KS tonight through Tuesday morning. This band of rain and snow could produce anywhere from 1 to 2 inches of additional snow accumulations before sunrise Tuesday.
Periods of snow will cause some travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.*
