Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 10:24 PM CST on November 15, 2009
... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 am Monday to
6 am CST Tuesday...
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 am Monday to
6 am CST Tuesday.
Rainfall will gradually mix with and eventually change over to
snow late tonight over north central Kansas and through Monday
morning across northeast Kansas. Snow will begin to accumulate on
grassy surfaces first and could accumulate on Road ways as the day
progresses Monday. By Monday evening... around 3 inches of snow is
possible along the I-70 corridor with 5 to 7 inches possible along
Highway 36.
Periods of snow will cause some travel difficulties. Be prepared
for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution
while driving.
