Statement as of 3:02 PM CST on November 14, 2009 ... Winter Storm Watch now in effect from Sunday morning through Monday afternoon... The Winter Storm Watch is now in effect from Sunday morning through Monday afternoon. Rain will develop tonight and then change to snow Sunday morning or early Sunday afternoon. Periods of snow will continue into Monday. Storm total snowfall of 4 to 7 inches with locally higher amounts will be possible before the snow tapers off Monday. North winds will increase to 15 to 25 mph Sunday afternoon through Monday... possibly resulting in some blowing and drifting of the snow. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
