The Winter Storm Watch is now in effect from this evening through Monday afternoon. Rain will change to snow Sunday morning... with snow continuing into Monday. Storm total snowfall of 4 to 8 inches with locally higher amounts will be possible by the time the snow tapers off late Monday. North winds will increase to 15 to 25 mph Sunday afternoon through Monday... possibly resulting in some blowing and drifting of the snow. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
