The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Anderson... Coffey... Douglas... Franklin... Lyon and Osage counties.

* Through Wednesday evening

* additional periods of locally heavy rainfall are possible Tuesday
night and possibly into Wednesday evening.

* Heavy rainfall in a short period of time will cause flash
flooding of low lying areas as well as streams and creeks.
Additionally... flooding along larger rivers may develop as
well through Wednesday.
