... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 6 PM Thursday
to 6 am CST Saturday...

* timing... beginning Thursday night... and persisting through
Friday night.

* Main impact... rain is expected to transition to freezing rain
Thursday night and continue into Friday. Periodic chances for
light freezing rain and perhaps some sleet will continue into
Friday night and Saturday.

* Ice accumulations... to around two-tenths of an inch will be
possible Thursday night into Friday morning. The combination of
the ice and gusty north winds of 15 to 25 mph may result in some
downed tree limbs and power lines.

* Other impacts... include hazardous driving conditions due to very
slick roadways from ice accumulations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of winter weather
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads
and limited visibilities. Use caution while driving.

The low temperature for November 25th at Salina, Kansas was 53
degrees. This breaks the previous record warmest low temperature for
this date... which was 48 degrees set in 2011.
