... Wind Advisory in effect from 1 am to 1 PM CDT Sunday...
The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 1 am to 1 PM CDT Sunday.
* Timing... strong north winds will overspread the area tonight and
continue into Sunday afternoon.
* Winds... north winds are expected to be sustained in the 30 to 35
mph range with gusts between 40 and 45 mph.
* Impacts... the strong winds will make travel difficult... especially
for high profile vehicles and along west to east oriented
roadways such as Interstate 70.
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of at least 30 mph
and/or wind gusts over 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong
can make driving difficult... especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.
