Statement as of 8:43 AM CDT on March 20, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Kankakee River at Shelby.
* At 745 am Saturday the stage was 9.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Sunday morning.
* Impact... at 9.0 feet... lowland agricultural flooding begins.
