A large area of rain will continue to affect the area through midnight. The northern extent of this rain will continue to be just north of the Interstate 80 corridor. Rainfall rates will generally remain light...with the greatest rainfall rates of around a tenth of an inch per hour possible generally south of a line from Streator to Kankakee to Rensselaer. Otherwise...temperatures will remain nearly steady in the lower 40s through midnight with northeast winds of 10 to 15 mph.
