Areal Flood Advisory
Statement as of 12:46 AM EST on March 04, 2015

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
Jackson County in south central Indiana...
Jennings County in southeast Indiana...
Lawrence County in south central Indiana...
Martin County in southwest Indiana...
southern Daviess County in southwest Indiana...

* until 830 am EST

* at 1243 am EST... National Weather Service Doppler radar estimated
total rainfall amounts of three quarters of an inch to one inch
across the advisory area... especially in Jackson and Jennings
counties. This rainfall combined with melting of the snowpack is
likely contributing to minor flooding of some roads... and in low
lying and poor drainage areas. Up to an additional half inch of
rain is possible overnight.

* Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Bedford... Seymour... Brownstown... North Vernon... Shoals... Vernon and
Washington.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. If flooding is observed act quickly. Do not
drive through areas where water covers the roadway.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.
