The river will fall below flood stage Sunday evening. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Sunday evening. * At 14.0 feet... several hundred acres of bottomlands along the right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of Montezuma begin to flood.

The Flood Warning continues for the Wabash River at Covington. * From late tonight to Sunday morning... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 7:00 am Thursday the stage was 14.5 feet. * Minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 16.0 feet. * Forecast... rise above flood stage by late tonight and continue to rise to near 17.3 feet by Friday evening. The river will fall below flood stage by Saturday evening. * At 18 feet... five crossings, a local County River Park at old U.S. Highway 136 bridge site begins to flood.

Flood Warning extended until late Saturday night... the Flood Warning continues for the Wabash River at Lafayette. * Until late Saturday night... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 10:00 am Thursday the stage was 11.9 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 11.0 feet. * Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 13.2 feet by late tonight. The river will fall below flood stage Saturday afternoon. * At 14.0 feet... lowland flooding is in progress. High water affects McAllister Park Golf course in Lafayette and river Cabins near north 9th street. Low County roads are nearly impassable. Tapawingo park in West Lafayette begins to flood.
