Statement as of 12:01 PM CDT on July 05, 2009
... Areas of dense fog forming...
Areas of fog were forming across northern Indiana... southwest
lower Michigan and Northwest Ohio early this morning. The fog was
becoming locally dense in some areas with visibilities dropping
below one quarter mile. The fog is expected to persist through
sunrise and the dense fog could become more widespread with near
zero visibility at times toward sunrise.
Slow down and use caution if driving this morning. Remember to use
low beam headlights in areas of fog. Stay tuned for updates and
possible advisories if conditions deteriorate further.
