Overview...

The first episode of winter-like weather will descend upon south- central Indiana and central Kentucky this weekend as a low pressure center moves across the Ohio Valley Friday night followed by cold Canadian high pressure by Sunday morning.

Snow potential...

A band of snow may occur over parts of east-central Kentucky late Friday night into early Saturday morning with up to one inch of accumulation possible on grassy areas.

Cold temperatures...

Subfreezing temperatures from 25 to 30 degrees are expected for a few hours early Sunday morning over much of central Kentucky and south-central Indiana. Such temperatures will likely end the growing season.
