The Flood Warning continues for the Wabash River at Montezuma. * Until late Saturday night. * At 8:45 PM Tuesday the stage was 15.0 feet. * Flood stage is 14.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast...the river will continue rising to near 17.6 feet by Thursday evening. The river will fall below flood stage Saturday early afternoon. * At 18.0 feet...Montezuma agricultural levee is overtopped. Fourteen hundred acres of low bottomlands flood. Lowest bottomlands flood.

The Flood Warning continues for the Wabash River at Covington. * Until late Friday night. * At 8:45 PM Tuesday the stage was 17.2 feet. * Flood stage is 16.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast...the river will continue rising to near 19.8 feet by tomorrow evening. The river will fall below flood stage Friday afternoon. * At 20.0 feet...a few County roads begin to flood. Higher bottomlands begin to flood. The first Cottage upstream from US 136 bridge may become isolated by high water.

The Flood Warning continues for the Wabash River at Lafayette. * Until Friday evening. * At 9:31 PM Tuesday the stage was 15.1 feet. * Flood stage is 11.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast...the river has crested and began to fall. The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Friday morning. * At 15.0 feet...flood waters approaching Warren CR 350 N in the Black Rock preserve area. Williamsport Road in Fountain County may begin to flood. In late December 2008...the Road flooded when the river crested at 17.2 feet on the Lafayette gage.
