The large area of storms is moving southeast near 30 mph. Light to moderate rain is over...McHenry...Lake...Cook...Du Page...DeKalb...Kane...Kendall...Grundy...Livingston...will... Kankakee...La Salle and northern Iroquois counties. Thunderstorms are in La Salle...Grundy...Kankakee and will counties. The storms are producing rainfall rates of nearly an inch an hour and lightning. Expect ponding of water on roads and in low-lying areas...and rises in area streams and creeks. The line of thunderstorms is moving northeast near 30 mph.
