A few storms could become strong to severe with heavy rains up to a half inch in 15 minutes... frequent lightning...gusty winds and possible hail. Heavy rain could cause ponding of water on roadways especially over the Illinois River valley from Peoria northeast into Woodford and Marshall counties.
