* widespread rainfall amounts from 1 to 3 inches are expected tonight through Tuesday as a slow moving storm system impacts the region.
* Runoff from the rainfall is expected to cause significant rises and possible flooding on area rivers. Also... swaths of more localized heavy rainfall rates may result in flooding of small streams and creeks. Expect drainage ditches and other low lying areas to become inundated with water during this extended period of significant rain.
