Statement as of 9:59 PM CST on December 17, 2009 ... The Flood Warning remains in effect until 245 PM CST Friday for northeastern La Salle County... Earlier this evening at 544 PM CST... La Salle County emergency management continued to report an ice jam on the lower Fox River near Norway. The river had risen above bankfull... and may continue to rise overnight. Ice jams can result in rapid fluctuations in water levels. Residents along the Fox River should be alert for rapid changes in water levels. Precautionary/preparedness actions...
