Showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will continue tracking eastward across much of southern Illinois...southeast Missouri...and western Kentucky through 7 PM in the wake of a stronger line of thunderstorms. The back edge of this activity will reach a line from Carbondale Illinois to Sikeston Missouri by 645 PM. Additional rainfall amounts will be under a quarter of an inch in most spots...with some amounts over a half inch further north across southern Illinois where the activity is more persistent.
