    ... Highest measured wind gusts as of 3 PM CDT...

    An unseasonably strong low pressure system which moved across the
    region produced intense westerly to northwesterly winds early
    this morning and into the midday. These strong winds resulted in
    scattered reports of broken tree limbs... downed trees and powerlines
    along with minor structural damage across the bi-state region. The
    following is a preliminary list of strongest measured winds from
    automated surface observation sites.
