Statement as of 8:23 PM CDT on March 18, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Illinois River near Peoria.
* Until Wednesday afternoon.
* At 730 PM Thursday the stage was 20.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Wednesday morning.
* Impact... at 18.0 feet... some flooding begins to bottomland not
protected by levees.
