... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am CST /11 am EST/
Tuesday...
The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 10 am CST /11 am EST/
Tuesday.
Areas of dense fog will form overnight and persist through late
Tuesday morning. Visibilities in the denser fog patches will drop
to a quarter of a mile or less... particularly in river valleys and
other low lying areas.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
