The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a lake Wind
Advisory... which is in effect until midnight CDT tonight.

* Timing... strong winds will continue through the evening.

* Winds... sustained winds around 15 mph with gusts of 20 to 25
mph.

* Impacts... impacts will be high due to the Holiday weekend
boating activity. Those who plan to be on the water through the
night should take appropriate precautions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.

extending from near Cape Girardeau to near Tamms... moving northeast
at 40 mph.

Winds gusting to 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
