Through 2 PM...an area of showers and thunderstorms will continue to affect portions of southern Illinois and west Kentucky. Much of the activity extends in a broad line from the Rend Lake area in Illinois...southwest through Golconda...then into west Kentucky through the communities of Eddyville...Cadiz and Hopkinsville. Some storms will produce torrential rains with localized street flooding.
