A large area of rain across central Illinois extending northward toward the Interstate 80 corridor is expected to make some slow progress toward the Interstate 88 corridor through midnight. Rainfall will be quite light on the northern extent of this area...with the steadier light to occasionally moderate rain well south of Interstate 80. Otherwise...temperatures will remain nearly steady in the lower 40s through midnight with northeast winds of 10 to 15 mph continuing.
