* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Thursday afternoon.
* Impact... at 24.0 feet... some minor flooding affects houses just
downstream of bridge street in Murphysboro.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:00 am Sunday the stage was 41.7 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast to continue.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 41.3 feet
by tomorrow morning.
* Impact... at 42.0 feet... many homes in the Cape Girardeau area are
affecting and evacuation is required. Over 100,000 acres is
flooded.
