Statement as of 4:08 AM CST on February 01, 2015

...Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until midnight CST tonight...

* timing...snow...heavy at times...will continue until early evening. Near blizzard conditions will develop this afternoon and continue into this evening.

* Snow accumulations...10 to 14 inches...with isolated higher amounts possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel...keep an extra flashlight... food...and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
