The Flood Warning continues for
the Rock River near Joslin.
* Until Sunday morning.
* At 3:30 am Thursday the stage was 12.8 feet... and falling.
* Flood stage is 12 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast... fall below flood stage Sunday morning.
* Impact... at 12 feet... water affects some Summer cottages along the
river.

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 11 am CDT this morning...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a dense
fog advisory.

* Timing: in effect now though 11 am this morning.

* Visibility: widespread visibilities of one-quarter mile or less.
Some areas will experience rapid changes in visibilities where
the fog is more patchy in nature.

* Impacts: if you are traveling this morning... allow extra time to
reach your destination. Visibilities may change rapidly when
driving at high speeds... so exercise caution. Be wary of school
kids waiting for buses on Road sides.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
