Statement as of 1:56 PM MST on November 11, 2009
... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 am MST
Thursday for elevations above 6500 feet...
Showers are expected to persist through Thursday morning in the
central mountains. Above 6500 feet... snow is expected to
accumulate with 5 to 8 inches likely by midday Thursday. Lower
elevations could see up to 4 inches of snow.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause
travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited
visibilities... and use caution while driving.
