Statement as of 4:26 AM MST on November 12, 2009 ... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM MST this evening above 7000 feet elevation... A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM MST this evening. While mainly flurries or rain showers had developed in the upper snake Highlands up until 300 am Thursday morning... light to moderate snow is still expected during the day today and the evening hours tonight above the 7000 foot elevation. Expect 4 to 10 inches during that time... with highest amounts at the highest elevation. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
