A record snowfall of 1.7 inch(es) was set at Boise ID as of 600pm MDT Friday October 10. This is the earliest measurable snowfall in Boise since records began in 1898. The previous earliest snowfall in Boise was October 12 1969 when 1.2 inches of snow fell. A record low temperature of 22 degrees was set at Rome Oregon yesterday. This breaks the old record of 26 set in 1985.
