... Wind Advisory in effect from noon to 6 PM MDT Monday...
The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from noon to 6 PM MDT Monday.
* Winds... sustained west winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 50 mph.
* Timing... brief strong winds during cold-frontal passage 4 to 6
am MDT Monday in the Treasure valley... and 6 to 8 am MDT in the
Magic Valley. Winds will blow at advisory speeds late Monday
morning through afternoon.
* Impacts... travel hazard on north-south roads due to cross winds.
Minor property damage. Small tree limbs may be brought down.
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of at least 30 mph...
or gusts of at least 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can
make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles.
Use extra caution.
