Through 930 am...showers and thunderstorms will continue affecting areas mainly south of a line from Charles City and West Union Iowa...to Bagley and Platteville Wisconsin. Expect heavy downpours and wind gusts to 40 mph with the storms along with dangerous lightning. Rainfall amounts through 930 am this morning will range from a tenth to a third of an inch...with locally up to a half an inch at some locations. This may cause some ponding of water on roadways and also in low lying areas.
