Through 830 am...showers and thunderstorms will continue moving east across the area...mainly south of a line from Charles City and West Union Iowa...to Bagley and Montfort Wisconsin. Expect heavy downpours and winds gusts to 40 mph with the storms along with occasional lightning. Rainfall amounts through 830 this morning will range from a tenth to a third of an inch...with locally up to a half an inch at some locations. This may cause some ponding of water on roadways and also in low lying areas.
