* Timing... periods of snow will continue over the region much of today.
* Snow accumulations... new snowfall today will generally be around 1 inch.
* Winds... northwest winds of 15 t0 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph... especially this afternoon... are expected.
* Impacts... this winter weather event will continue to make travel difficult with continued blowing and drifting of snow. Some roads remain drifted shut and continued drifting is expected across those roads that are open.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that visibilities will be limited at times due to strong winds. Snow packed roads can also be expected. Use caution when traveling... especially in open areas.
